Dear Lions,
Greetings! I hope that you have made a good start of this unusual year of 2020-2021. Most importantly, I
hope you are staying safe and healthy through these difficult times.
We all are in the midst of an unprecedented situation as the world reacts to COVID-19.
There is great uncertainty as to which direction the situation will turn, and there seems to be no definite end in
sight.
Considering the situation, International President Dr. Jung-Yul Choi has proposed postponing the 59th
OSEAL Forum to be held in Jeju for one year, to November 2021, and the OSEAL Executive Committee
members unanimously support this proposal.
With the agreement of The 59th OSEAL Forum Chairperson, therefore, I would like to officially inform you
that there will be no OSEAL Forum in the year of 2020, and the 59th OSEAL Forum will be held in
November 2021 in Jeju, Korea. The 60th OSEAL Forum, as a result, will be held in November 2022
in Manila, Philippines.
Thank you for your understanding and we are looking forward to have a wonderful OSEAL Forum next
year in Jeju. Please share this information with your fellow Lions clubs and members.
In the meantime, we will not stop serving and we will continue seeking an alternative ways of
communicating and connecting each other.
